Rock Shox Revelation RLT Dual Position Air 2011

Sorry for the intervention in english... I can read some italian but I can't write it to save my life. Sorry. I have a Dual Position Air since December 2010. The box came with fork, pump, star nut, like 4 0r 5 sets of decals in different colours and (useless) manual. To shorten travel, you...

I have used the StanchionLube and for forks that are not open bath, it really works. You apply it on the stanchion until it basically dries and then it leaves no residue but covers with teflon the porous surface of the stanchions. It was not worthy on my All Mountain 1, but it was very...

I don't know on the TST or WC, but the Air R has shim on BOTH the high speed and low speed rebound... So, even if the bleed is undersized, you can use a smaller shim on the low speed rebound... or remove the shim completely if you think that's the cause.

Sounds like you know what you're doing... Benissimo!! First, try speeding up the rebound a couple clicks. It may be plain "packing up" (rebound is too slow and it does not allow the shock to extend quick enough). If that doesn't work, I'd try a lower pressure in the IFP first along with a...

    lubrificazione sospensioni

NEVER use grease on an oil-lubed fork. Grease dissolves leaving a soap like residue that has very high friction. Unless it's an oil soluble grease... but it doesn't make any sense. Just use a few drops of whatever is IN the fork to lube the wipers (parapolvere) and clean any excess, for oil...

The pressure in the IFP adds to the total spring rate. Not directly... it's not that simple. But it adds to the total spring rate of the shock. If the IFP is set deep, the "spring" in that chamber variates little in rate. If the volume is less, it raises in pressure more aggressively. Also...

I don't have the info you need, unfortunately. I actually think Marzocchi doesn't have it either, but I want to be wrong. If you're working on your own shock, there's nothing like trial and error. Start on the safe side and set the IFP with the minimum insertion (more resistance to bottoming)...

Sorry to relive this one (and much more sorry for not writing in italian yet). Some update at my signature... I have traced the problem and it looks like poor lubrication makes the seal to roll over and twist causeing a leak. Marzocchi USA didn't warranty it. I rather got the seals for the...

5th element air qualcuno l ha mai aperto?

I was the one that opened the 5th Air... And it's working like a marvel now. Yes, 5wt oil works fine. Follow the instructions for the rebuild of the Singer 3Way... the rest is explained on the page at mtbr.com. Both shocks are surprisingly equal. Sorry, but I can read a bit of Italian, but...
